Employment law is becoming increasingly complex and affects a large proportion of the population. We have experience of acting for both the employer and the employee at all levels.
Our employment team can prepare and advise on compromise agreements, as well as redundancies and restructuring of businesses and a variety of employment tribunal claims including unfair dismissal claims, breach of contract claims, discrimination claims, application of the statutory dismissal and statutory disciplinary and grievance procedures.
Our employment team can also advise on the Working Time Regulations, long term sickness, harassment and bullying in the workplace, Transfer of Undertaking (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 and share schemes.
We are specialists at assisting businesses with the drafting of contracts and, importantly, updating of various employment documents such as employment contracts for junior and senior employees, director's service agreements, consultancy agreements, changing terms of employment, letters of appointment and various employment policy and procedural documents.
